Appleton Book Fair
An emphasis on reading is a huge part of the success of Appleton, and the Book Fair is one of the fun ways students get to dive into reading and books every year. For 2 weeks, the Library is turned into a world of stories, games and excitement and students will have an opportunity to purchase books and prizes to take home.

Appleton Ornament Night with Angelos Pottery
Come and create a Christmas ornament masterpiece! Great for keepsakes, heirlooms, presents, or just for fun! Cost is 10$ per ornament, you’ll get to pick it out and decorate it and then Angelos Pottery will fire it in their kiln and return it to the school for students to pick up. Come enjoy a great night and a festive atmosphere with your Appleton friends and family!

Spell-a-Thon 2024
One of the best fundraisers of the year! Look for information coming home in your Tuesday folders on Tuesday, October 17th. For more info, spelling practice and donations, visit the Spell-a-thon Page!
Here are key dates to remember:
Oct. 15 - Pledge sheets and spelling lists coming home for students to obtain pledges/begin studying words. (DON’T LOSE YOUR PLEDGE SHEETS!)
Nov. 4 – Nov. 8 - (Monday – Thursday) – The window of time teachers give tests to students.
Nov. 12 – Graded tests go home for students to collect pledges.
Dec. 4th – Deadline to return collected donations.

Come eat some yummy food, and help support the Appleton PTA while you’re at it! Eat there anytime between 5 and 8pm on February 20th, and make sure you mention you are with Appleton Elementary when you order and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to Appleton!
