About Appleton PTA
The Appleton PTA meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 4:10pm in the school library. The meetings are usually no more than an hour and you are welcome to bring your kids! We will discuss various topics relating to projects, events and initiatives surrounding Appleton Elementary School, and do some celebrating while we are at it. All parents, grandparents and guardians of Appleton students are welcome to join us!
PTA President -Joe Kuta
Joes has been around Appleton for a while, and we are thrilled to have him step into the VP role. Joe brings a ton of energy and ideas. Joe has one student in Appleton, and one “future Appletonian”. One of the many things Joe does for Appleton PTA is heading up our Business Sponsorships so make sure you chat with him about that if you and your business are interested in one of our sponsorship packages.
PTA Treasurer - Brooke Bray
With Brooke’s 5 kids, she has been and will be at Appleton for a while! Which is great because she brings so much to our community. She has been instrumental in the success of our Spell-a-thon fundraiser and also is involved in many other facets around Appleton. This year Brooke is tackling the PTA treasurer position, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have someone so competent in such a crucial role.
PTA Secretary - Krisi Gustad
Hi I’m Krisi! I am currently the Gifted and Talented teacher and have worked at D51 for 20 wonderful years. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, High School Special Education and Gifted and Talented (GT). This will be my 9th year teaching GT. I have been married to my husband, Keith, for 13 years and we have an 11 year old son named Kayman and an 8 year old girl named Kinna. They also attend Appleton Elementary. We have a pet puppy named Ruger who enjoys evening walks! We love baseball, four wheeling, camping, and hunting for GeoCaches. Appleton has an amazing PTA and I am excited to be a member of the team!

PTA Vice President - Vanessa Bradley
Vanessa was raised in the Valley and is known for her generous spirit and dedication to service. Often found quietly supporting events behind the scenes, Vanessa’s commitment to the community is evident in everything she does. With four students currently at Appleton and another joining next year, her family is set to be an active and involved part of our school for years to come.
