P.T.A. Needs You!

Dear Appleton Community,

Appleton’s great reputation and student achievements are directly linked to the generous volunteers who give the gifts of time and effort. A great way to volunteer and serve our school community is to participate in PTA. Our first meeting of the school year is Thursday, August 24 at 4:10pm in the Appleton library. If you are a parent of a kindergartner or first grader your incentive to participate is that your child’s educational experience at Appleton will be directly and positively affected for 6 years to come. Our meetings last about one hour. Come dedicate a little time and find out what we are all about!

Check Out Appleton’s Facebook Page as a great source of Information and staying up to date with what’s happening around Appleton! Also we JUST LAUNCHED an Instagram account! You can find us on IG at appleton_elementary, (or click the IG icon on the top of your screen) you’ll find lots of great stories and info on our IG account as well.

APPLETON FALL CARNIVAL!

Carnival Support - We Need Your Help!

The Appleton Carnival will be September 8.  This is one of Appleton’s traditional fun events that supports many programs within our school (like our new Aquos Smart boards).

If you can support the silent auction it would be greatly appreciated.  We are accepting items that you, a business, or organization you are associated with, are willing to donate.  Free services, gift cards, and goods are all appreciated.  More than 1,000 people will attend the carnival.  Donating an item from your business is a great way to advertise. Send in donations or call Corey Hafey 254-6400 for more information.

Here are some of the organizations who have already donated:

Parking Auction Item = Fun & Convenience

Back by popular demand we are once again offering year long parking spots (2 will be offered) as fun silent auction items this year. How would you like to have your own parking space near the parent pick-up area reserved for you all year? Well, we are putting that package together for the silent auction. Just think, never having to guess if there is a parking spot available. Sounds like paradise doesn’t it?

This and many more fun silent auction items will be available at the famous Appleton Carnival on September 8.
