Carnival Support - We Need Your Help!

Dear Appleton Community,

The Appleton Carnival will be September 8.  This is one of Appleton’s traditional fun events that supports many programs within our school (like our new Aquos Smart boards).  If you can support the silent auction it would be greatly appreciated.  We are accepting items that you, a business, or organization you are associated with, are willing to donate.  Free services, gift cards, and goods are all appreciated.  More than 1,000 people will attend the carnival.  Donating an item from your business is a great way to advertise. Send in donations or call Corey Hafey 254-6400 for more information.

    Carnival Cake Walk Donations Needed

One of the most fun events at the Appleton Carnival is the CakeWalk. We need your donations to make that event happen. Please consider bringing a baked good (ex. cakes, pies, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, or breads) for the ever popular CakeWalk on the day of the Carnival or the day before.  A plate of 6 cupcakes, a dozen cookies or any store bought pastry are all great ways to support the Cake Walk. Thank You!

Parking Auction Item = Fun & Convenience

By popular demand we are once again offering year long parking spots (2 will be offered) as fun silent auction items this year. How would you like to have your own parking space near the parent pick-up area reserved for you all year? Well, we are putting that package together for the silent auction. Just think, never having to guess if there is a parking spot available. Sounds like paradise doesn’t it?

This and many more fun silent auction items will be available at the famous Appleton Carnival on September 8.

Helping the night of the Carnival

It takes 200+ volunteers to pull off the Appleton Carnival, so that means we need you! Even if you can only help for 15 minutes, we’d really appreciate it! All jobs are very simple (serving food, helping with games, setting up tables and chairs, stuffing envelopes, etc) For more info and to sign up to help, visit the Carnival Volunteer page

Kids Aid

Kids Aid is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing for the needs of children, with a primary focus on supplying food to hungry kids. In collaboration with local schools, childcare providers and other organizations, our Backpack Program sends food home with children who otherwise would go hungry over the weekend. Experiencing food insecurity can limit a child’s ability to learn, grow and have fun. Kids Aid is a community solution to “helping kids be kids.”

If interested please reach out to your teacher to let them know you would like to receive assistance from this amazing program!

P.T.A. Participation is Amazing!

Our first meeting of the school year was last Thursday and there were nearly 60 folks in attendance! Thank you, that’s an exciting start to our year!

Please let your child’s teacher know you can volunteer for 30 minutes at the Carnival. We need volunteers to make this super fun event a success!

Go Bookworms!
